Searchable OptionsVisual Paradigm products are highly customizable. There are hundreds (if not thousands) of configurable options in the application options dialog box. Therefore, in this release we have introduced the search function in the application options dialog box. This lets the user locate options very easily by using search options. Using the Search FunctionFirst open the Options dialog by clicking Tools> Options...
The Options dialog box will appear. You may enter the keywords of the search into the search box on the top left corner. In this case we will search for options containing the word ‘State’.
All the pages that contain the keywords will be shown while the rest are filtered. The relevant options will also be highlighted.
Using the Asterisk WildcardYou may also search for options using the asterisk ‘*’ to represent any character(s). In the following case the wildcard is used to represent anything that may come after the word ‘pin’. In this case there are two matches.
