Jump to Diagram

Several versions ago, the “Jump To” feature was introduced to support immediate shape/model location. With the traditional “Jump To” feature, you can jump to a shape in the active diagram, or jump to any shape/model in the current project.

In this release, “Jump To” is enhanced to support jumping to diagram. By locating and opening diagram with “Jump To”, you can quickly locate a diagram by its name, which saves you time from searching through the Diagram Navigator.

Jumping to a Diagram

  1. Select Edit > Jump to Diagram... from the main menu. Alternatively, press the hotkey Ctrl-Shift-D.


    This launch the Jump to pane.


  2. Enter the diagram name in the text field. A diagram list will be popped up with the filtered diagrams that matches your input.


  3. If you know the name of the diagram to find, you can type all or part of its name to filter the items in the list so you can located the shape much faster. Wildcard characters * (all combination of characters) and ? (any one character) can also be used.


  4. Press the Up/Down key to locate the diagram you want to ‘jump to’.


  5. With the desired item in the list selected, press the Enter Key. The corresponding diagram will be opened.
