Configurable new line behavior
There are some types of model that support multi-line naming. From Visual Paradigm Suite 3.0 you can configure to use <Enter> or <Ctrl> + <Enter> to make new line and confirm editing.
Configure new line behavior
Select
Tools > Options... from the main menu to open the
Options dialog box.
Select
Diagramming from the list at the left hand side of the
Options dialog box.
Open the
Shape tab.
The key for creating a new line, by default is
Enter
...while the default for confirming the editing of element name is
Ctrl-Enter.
To revert the key being used for this two actions, press on the drop-down menu next to
Create new line key: and select the alternative.
Click OK to close the Options dialog box.
