Undo and Redo the Creation of Shape Done by the Resource-Centric Interface

The Resource-Centric Interface is a powerful feature for creating a shape from an existing one with a connection added between the source and the target shape.

Basically, it involves three steps:

  1. Press on a resource icon from the source shape.

  2. Drag it out.

  3. Release the mouse button at the position that you want the target shape to be created. A new shape is created and connected to the selected source shape.

The effect of Undo actions

If a shape is created through the resource-centric interface, in the previous version you need to execute the undo command twice in order to roll back to the state that the shape does not exist. Here are what the undo commands did for individual execution:

  1. Remove the connector

  2. Remove the target shape

In the new release, the behavior of undo is fine-tuned to make it more intuitive. When you created a shape through the Resource-Centric Interface, you only need to execute undo for once to remove both the shape and the connector. This tiny change makes the Resource-Centric Interface more user-friendly.
