Using Find Facilities
With VP’s products, you do not need to spend so much time to browse through the whole project to look for a specific element. You can simply use the Find facilities provided to find the element without any trouble.
With this document, we will show you how to use the find facilities and how to conduct a more specific search using the provided find settings.

Now, click on the
Edit menu on the main menu bar and select
Find.... A
Find dialog box will be displayed.
You can input any text in the
Text field to find an element. For example put ATM there to find any ATM related elements. Click on the
Find button to start the searching process.
You can look at the finding result for ATM at the
Find Results tab of the
Message pane that is located in the bottom of your screen.

Settings for Find Facilities
To narrow down the focus of your search in further, you can enter the search criteria provided in the Find dialog box.
Scope
Find in diagram: Choose one of the provided options from the drop-down menu
Find in model (optional): The searching will include finding the elements among the created models.
Include documentations of element (optional): The searching will include the documentations of the element.
Model Types
Option
Case Sensitive (optional): Check to let the searching to distinguish between upper and lower case letters.
Match whole words only (optional): The searching will only look for words within the scope that match the whole search text.
