Defining Templates for the Report Writer

1. Create a folder in USER_HOME_DIR, with folder name ‘vpreporttemplates’
2. Inside vpreporttemplates, create an XML file, with file name ‘report-templates.xml’. The contents should look like the following:
   

   <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
   <Templates>
   <Template name="My Template" templatePath="MyReportTemplate.doc" imagePath="template.JPG"/>
   </Templates>

   Note: The templatePath and imagePath are relative to the folder ‘vpreporttemplates’

3. Now, when you create a new report, you can select your document as the start up template.
