Subversion (SVN) is a popular version control system that store artifacts centrally and keep track of changes and histories. All Visual Paradigm client products are integrated with Subversion to facilitate collaborative modeling. Your team can use Subversion repository to store project files, keep track of changes and perform modeling concurrently. Branching and Merging of project will be available in the next release.

Concurrent Versions System (CVS) is a popular version control system that store artifacts centrally and keep track of changes and histories. All Visual Paradigm client products are integrated with CVS to facilitate collaborative modeling. Your team can use CVS repository to store project files, keep track of changes and perform modeling concurrently. Tagging and Branching of project will be available in the next release.

In UML space, there is no isolated model. All models should relate to other model(s). You may put a visual relationship (e.g. Association) to related models. Sometimes the relationship between models is not strong enough to have a visual relationship. You may add files, URLs and diagram references to models for elaboration or navigation purposes.

DB Visual ARCHITECT(DB-VA) generates properties (Getter/Setter) for each attribute for ORM-Persistable class. By default, the property visibility is generated as public and you can change the property visibility by following the attribute model’s visibility. In this article, you will learn how to change the generation option for property visibility, either Public or Follow attribute.

 Generate SQL Generate SQL

DB Visual ARCHITECT (DB-VA) provides the Generate SQL function on the Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). The Generate SQL function generates different kinds of SQL statements for entities and relationships. It not only generates SQL statement, but also allows you to modify the generated SQL statement and directly execute the statements on the connected database at once. The MySQL 5.0 database server is used for demonstration.

 Selectable Selectable

While direct manipulation of diagram elements has become a must-have in all contemporary visual modeling tools, it would really be a disadvantage when all diagram elements are editable even when you don’t want them to be. The selectable option is thus introduced so you can make certain diagram elements read-only and focus on only the interested ones.

VP’s Products provide the resource-centric interface which enables the easy creation of diagrams by using the valid editing resources listed around the diagram elements. To enhance the flexibility in creating a class diagram with the persistent objects, an ORM-Persistable class can be easily created and its valid editing resources are provided.
